Safety and our boxers well-being is of paramount importance to us. We achieve the balance of being a high adrenaline sport, without being dangerous. All of our coaches adhere to our strict safety policy. "It's not our job to be brave on your behalf". Whitecollarboxing.ie requires all participants to complete a medical screening assessment prior to commencing a programme. All of our "white collar warriors" are screened by our ringside Doctor on "fight night". With the correct supervision and safety measures, white collar boxing is a very safe and enjoyable pastime.
Glove Size
The glove size used in white collar boxing is 18 oz, as opposed to 10 oz, as used in both amateur and professional boxing. Head guards are always worn.
Match Making
Our expert matchmaker will be responsible for making sure each contest is evenly matched. Variables, such as, weight, age, boxing experience & ability, will be taken into consideration when matches are being made.
