Co. Armagh companies are going head to head in battle in the biggest corporate event ever to hit the City
Whitecollarboxing.ie are collaborating with Philip White Tyres to bring you; ‘Armagh-geddon, Company Battle’. Employees from local businesses and local sports personalities (Rugby, GAA) are pitched together in an epic boxing event in order to raise funds the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
To celebrate this unique event a launch night in the Armagh City Hotel will be held where players will be weighed in and face each other for the first time before commencing training on TBC.
To be crowned company champion, 24 brave men and women are putting it all on the line and are undertaking an intensive 6 week training programme that will see them go from boxing amateur to pro when they get the ultimate opportunity to compete in a boxing ring on Saturday 23rd November in the Armagh City Hotel at 7.30pm.
Former Olympic Boxer, Cathal O’Grady of whitecollarboxing.ie is overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and interest in this event. Both clubs are delighted with the generosity that has been shown them so far by local companies and individuals in support of the event. Each participant needs an entry fee of £50 plus £200 sponsorship from the company. This will give your company 2 free tickets, 2 month exposure in the local papers running up to the event and great exposure on the night with company name on screens and boxers wearing the name on vests. All the proceeds from this show will go towards the Northern Ireland Children Hospice. Tickets are £20 stg or a ring side table of £300 for ten people with food can be purchased from the Armagh City Hotel.
